Srinagar: President Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) Qayoom Wani Thursday showed serious concern over the unwarranted closure of SRTC Yard and its office at Tees Hazari in Delhi.

He condemned the silence of State Govt. over the issue. He described the protest of SRTC employees of this issue justified and asked the authorities of SRTC not to shift the yard from Tees Hazari Delhi until and unless, equivalent and suitable alternate space will be provided for the corporation by Delhi Govt.
Wani assured SRTC employees and its union for full support and cooperation over this issue.
He also urged upon Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti to take up this issue with the Central Govt. so that SRTC, its employees and beneficiaries of this corporation may not suffer any more.
