KULGAM: To review the performance of financial institutions in Kulgam district up to quarter ending September 2017 of the financial year 2016-17,
Chairman District Level Review Committee (DLRC) DDC Kulgam Talat Parvaiz on Monday chaired a meeting .
Up to the quarter ending September 2017, 44.49% of the District Credit Plan has been achieved, an official handout read.
The CD ratio of the district stands at Rs.88.21 crore. It was further revealed that the banks have disbursed Rs 352.11 crore to 16101 beneficiaries, out of which Rs. 286.44 crore have been disbursed in priority sector accommodating as many as 12873 beneficiaries.
In agriculture sector, banks have disbursed Rs. 238.15 crore accommodating 10375 beneficiaries, the meeting was informed. In micro small enterprise 1923 beneficiaries have been accommodated by disbursing Rs. 41.84 crore. Under Non-farm sector a disbursement of Rs. 7.45 crore have been made by the banks benefiting 575 beneficiaries, was revealed. The chair stressed upon the concerned to put in efforts to achieve the desired results, the handout added.
