Former Delhi HC chief justice is no more, laid to rest in Sopore

Sopore: Former chief justice of Delhi High Court, Sharief-ud-din, left for heavenly abode on Sunday.

Din was a resident of Chinkipora area of Sopore town in Baramulla in northern Kashmir.

Sources close to the deceased said that Din was not feeling well for quite some time after he breathed his last today at his Sopore home.

The deceased was renowned jurist, honest and humble soul, his close friends said.

Hundreds of people attended his funeral procession (nimaz-e-jinazah) this afternoon and was laid to rest at his ancestral graveyard thereafter.
