SRINAGAR: Dukhtaran-e-Millat (DeM) on Wednesday said any involvement with the Israeli “Zionists” by Kashmiris is a “brazen disregard” to Islam and a “conspiracy” against the Muslim Ummah and the “freedom movement” of Kashmir.
The party made these remarks in the wake of recent visit by an Indo-Israel group to Kashmir.
“In context of the recent visit by the Indo-Israel delegation to Kashmir, all Muslims of Kashmir must know that the aim of the enemies of (Islam) is destruction and death of Muslims,” DeM general secretary Nahida Nasreen said in a statement.
She said Muslims of Jammu and Kashmir must take serious notice of such happenings and shouldn’t allow such “conspiracies”. “It doesn’t matter if such delegations of Zionists and Hindus come for business purposes or to build social relations, their hidden and the only aim is to conspire against Muslims. We must remember that their conspiracies are always dangerous to Muslims.” Nasreen said while India has “illegally occupied Kashmir “, the existence of Israel “itself is illegal” and has never been accepted by Muslims. “Those who meet such delegations are doing a business of their faith. They must understand that Zionists and Muslims can never be friends,” she said.
DeM general secretary urged Muslims of Kashmir to refrain from talking to such delegations. “It is forbidden to talk to such people, and holding hour long meetings is completely out of question. Be it commoners, business class or someone from the pro-movement camp, it must be understood that we have to discourage such activities,” she said.
Meanwhile, Nasreen welcomed the decision of Pakistani court to release Jamat-ud-Dawah chief Hafiz Mohammad Saeed, from 11-month-long house detention. “It is a welcome judgement of the Pakistani court to release Hafiz Saeed sahib,” she said.
She also paid glowing tributes to militants killed in gunfights in Handwara and Kupwara.
