Srinagar: Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) chief Mehmood Shah on Wednesday paid tributes to the slain militants killed in Kupwara gunfight.
In an e-mailed statement issued to KNS, the LeT spokesman, Dr Abdullah Ghaznawi
quoted, Shah said that “Bashir Lashkari squad has started taking revenge from the Indian army.”
Shah told that “in the 8-hour fight, 5 soldiers were killed including one para-commando and 9 others were wounded. Mujahideen successfully evacuated.”
He added, “India is very well aware of the skills and capabilities of Mujahideen. We seek help from Allah (SWT) to carry on with our mission of fighting against the brute Indian forces.”
