Examination centers san heating, lighting system in Budgam

Budgam: The students of 10th and 12th class, writing for board exams in central Kashmir’s Budgam district are facing hardships because of the poor arrangements in different exam centers particularly in examination centre located at Boys higher Secondary Beerwah, sources said on Saturday.
Students from different examination centers told Kashmir Reader “in absence of proper lighting and heating arrangements we are not even able to concentrate on the question paper, not to talk of writing answers properly.”
They added “we are made to sit on simple chairs without writing board attached to them”.
“With sudden dip in temperature we huddle in examination centers in chilling cold without any heating arrangement,” Shahid a student said.
A student from boys higher secondary Beerwah also complained of poor lighting system in the exam halls. “During clouds we can’t even see our papers,” he added.
When contacted chief education officer Budgam Abdul Rouf Shahmari, he was busy in meeting.
