Srinagar: The second phase of a seminar on faculty development in higher education was held at Central University of Kashmir Wednesday in collaboration with Hassan Government Khuiehami College Bandipora.
Vice-Chancellor CUK, Prof. Mehraj ud Din Mir said the varsity would extend every possible support and cooperation to the colleges, particularly those functioning in remote corners of the Valley, for organizing academic workshops, seminars and conferences.
“The students of the colleges established in far off areas in Kashmir can also participate in the academic programmes organised by different departments of the university from time to time,” Prof Mehraj-ud-Din said.
He said the issued discussed in the seminar were essential in building the teaching capacity among faculty members of higher education.
Principal of HKM Government Degree College Bandipora, Prof. H.G Mustafa said this was the second programme organised by his institution in collaboration with CUK.
