Superintendents involved in mass copying put under suspension in Kishtwar

KISHTWAR: Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Angrez Singh Rana on Monday conducted surprise inspection of two examination centres – C.No. 3622(D) & 3621(C) in Kishtwar town during which various students were found cheating with open book material in connivance with the concerned superintendents. The Deputy Commissioner himself framed 9 cases of unfair means.
Taking a strong note of the incident, the Deputy Commissioner has ordered a probe into the matter with PO IWMP, Inderjeet Singh Parihar appointed as the enquiry officer. Both the Superintendents namely Sanjeet Sharma, lecturer HSS Nagseni and Mohd. Alif Butt, lecturer HSS Chatroo have been placed under suspension with immediate effect, pending enquiry. Meanwhile the District Treasury Officer has been directed not to withdraw the salaries of all the staff members posted in these two centres, till further orders.
The Deputy Commissioner has warned that strict action as warranted under rules shall be initiated against persons found indulging in such corrupt practices.
