CRPF to hold football tournment

SRINAGAR: Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) will be holding football tournaments in valley.
The Srinagar Sector CRPF is going to hosting district level football tournament for Srinagar , Budgam and Gandarbal from today.
In a statement issued here, it said that the Srinagar Sector CRPF is organising this event in Srinagar under its civic action program as directed by the Government of India.
This tournament is being organised to motivate the local youth for extracurricular activities and to develop their overall personality. The first phase and the matches will be played from today. Winner teams of each district will be rewarded with cash prize of Rs 15,000and runner team will be rewarded with Rs 10,000.
All teams will be provided sports kits of track suits, T Shirt, jersey, shorts , stockings, shin guards, Football shoes, Kit bag and a football for each and every player.
Total eight teams consisting of four top teams from Srinagar district, two teams from Budgam district and two teams from Gandarbal district will be selected for Sector level tournament.
