SRINAGAR: In view of shifting of bus-stand from Batamaloo to Parimpora, a deputation of Batamaloo Bus-stand Traders Coordination Committee on Friday called on Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singhhere here, an official press note read.
According to the press note, the deputation raised several issues relating to their business and other allied activities. They said that a mechanism should be formulated so that their businesses do not get affected.
While interacting with the deputation, the deputy chief minister assured them that their grievances would be looked into and redressed in a time-bound manner.
He said that the government was committed towards the welfare of every section of the society and several schemes have been initiated so that the business and other related activities get the requisite fillip, the press note read.
Minister for Education Syed Altaf Bukhari, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Baseer Khan, Commissioner Secretary Housing and Urban Development Hirdesh Kumar, Vice Chairman Srinagar Development Authority AM Raina, Commissioner Srinagar Municipal Corporation Reyaz Ahmad Wani and other senior officers were also present, it added.
