Shutdown in Kashmir on joint resistance leader’s call

Srinagar: A complete shutdown is being observed in the valley on the call of resistance leaders on Friday.
The resistance leaders, Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik have called shutdown to observe October 27 as a “black day”.
It was on this day in 1947 that the Indian Army landed in Srinagar Airport.
All shops and business houses are closed while as the public traffic is off the roads.
Reports of shutdown have reached from all the ten districts of the valley.
