Now, policeman’s house vandalised by suspected militants in Tral

Tral: Now, suspected militants have vandalised house of J&K policemen in Tral area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on late Saturday night.

Reports and officials posted in the area said that the house of a police officer who lives in Batagund Village of Tral was vandalised last night.

The house belongs to Ghulam Ahmed Bhat who is an assistant sub-inspector rank officer in J&K police.

The incident happened around 10 pm on Saturday.

The incident happened at a time when locals alleged a few days ago that house of a Hizb ul Mujahideen commander was ransacked by the government forces in Tral.

Suhail Ahmad, son of ASI Bhat, said that few masked gunmen had barged inside their house and vandalized the property.

“Our family members, including my father immediately fled from the house,” he reportedly said.

As the news of the militant action spread, government forces reinforcements rushed to the spot and launched massive manhunt.

Earlier, as well, residences of two ruling PDP workers were ransacked by the suspected militants last night in Tral and Shopian.
