Gunmen ransack PDP activist’s residence in south Kashmir

Pulwama: Suspected militants Saturday evening ransacked the residence of a ruling PDP activist in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, sources said.
They said the gunmen fired few shots in air before they fled from the scene.
The incident took place at Dadsara village of Tral where some suspected militants barged into the residence of PDP activist Mohammad Ashraf.
Local sources said that suspected militants ransacked his residence and fired some shots in air.
SP Awantipora Mohammad Zahid while confirming the incident told Kashmir Reader that no one was injured however they (militants) ransacked the house of Ashraf.
The incident happened days after government forces allegedly ransacked residences of many militants and arrested their relatives in south Kashmir.
