‘Indian agencies behind braid chopping’
Srinagar: Hizbul Mujahideen chief Syed Salahudin on Tuesday said the militants and the pro-freedom people of Kashmir have committed to continue the freedom struggle till it reaches to its logical end.
In an e-mailed statement issued to KNS, the Hizb spokesman, Saleem Hashmi quoted Salahuddin while addressing a high level meeting of Hizb Command Council, as saying, “Occupation forces and rulers have to leave Kashmir one day.”
He said India has already lost its war in Kashmir and is holding it on the military might.
“The history of the world is witness to the fact that no freedom struggle has been suppressed for long by the occupying forces,” he added.
The UJC and Hizb chief while paying tributes to the killed militants in the last two days, said the sacrifices of commander Khalid killed in Sopore encounter and the other three militants Zahid Ahmad Mir of Ganavpora, Asif Ahmad of Kathuhalan, Irfan Abdullah Ganie of Heff Shopian, who were killed in Keller encounter won’t go waste and they would continue their mission.
He said there are still Mir Sadiq’s and Mir Jaffar’s present in Kashmir but these people will meet the same fate of Mir Jaffar and Mir Sadiq.
He blamed the Indian agencies behind the increasing incidents of Braid chopping. The Deputy Chief of Hizb, Saifullah Khalid also spoke at the occasion.
Meanwhile, Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) also paid glowing tributes to slain militants.
A spokesperson of the outfit Dr Abdullah Ghaznavi quoted the LeT chief Mehmood Shah as paying tributes to “lone brother of six sisters” Umair alias Ubaid, Jaish-e-Muhammad commander Yasir alias Khalid and other militants.
“The sacrifices of these martyrs are an open proof that the struggle for freedom against Indian rule will continue and that the whole nation has pledged that they want nothing less than freedom,” Dr Ghaznavi quoted Shah as saying. “Even if we have to render thousands of more lives but we will never accept Indian occupation.”
The outfit termed Indian forces as a “group of dacoits whose job is to kill, loot and plunder”. The spokesperson said forces is scared of “mujahedeen” and the “character assassination of mujahedeen is a serious allegation”.
“Indian agencies are involved in braid chopping incidents across valley,” Dr Ghaznvai quoted Shah as saying, adding, “The black sheep will be exposed very soon.”
