Nobel laureate Kailash refuses to take position on use of pellet guns

Srinagar: Nobel Laureate Kailash Satyarthi, Monday refused to take position on use of pellet guns in Kashmir.
He said, “I am not a politician so won’t indulge in political debates.” However Kailash said he would like to meet the victims in Kashmir.
Kailash won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2014 for waging a peaceful struggle to protect children from being exploited as labour.
He was answering questions of journalists here.
Satyarthi was born in Vidisha district of Madhya Pradesh.
After completing an electrical engineering degree, he worked as a teacher. In 1980, he left teaching and founded Bachpan Bachao Andolan, which has freed thousands of children from slave-like conditions.
