Ranji Trophy, Group B: J&K v/s Rajasthan,Day-2

SRINAGAR: Riding on a superb bowling performance by pacer Mohammad Mudhasir on the second day J&K bowled out Rajasthan 330, in reply J&K were 150 for one on day two of their group b match played at Swai Mann Singh Stadium, Rajasthan on Saturday.
Mudhasir (5/81) and skipper Parvez Rasool (3/50) shared eight wickets as visitors J&K, pacer Samiullaha Beighh also bagged two wickwts including the prized scalp of centurion Robin Bist.
Shot out Rajasthan for 330 in their first innings.
Resuming on 249/4, overnight batsmen Robin Bist who was on 105 and T Haq who was yet to open his account, Rajasthan lost T Haq in the third delivery of the day when Haq was caught by Waseem Raza on the bowling of pacer Samiullaha Beigh; he went without troubling the scorers.
Inform batsman Bist just added eight runs to his personal before he become the second victim of the seasoned campaigner Sami Beigh when his stumps was uprooted by Beigh
Bist’s knock of 113 off 233 deliveries and his knock was studded with 19 fours.
RK Bishnoi(43) and TN Dhillon(18) added 46 run partnership for the seventh wicket the 46 run stand come to end when Dhillon become the second victim of J&K skipper Parvez Rasool.
Rajasthan lower end does not show any fighting sprit as the they just added 20 runs.
J&K openers Ahmad Omar Bandey and Shubam Khajuria came out with positive frame of mind and provided a rocking start by stitching a 109 run stand for the first wicket.
Their 109 run stand came to end when Khajuria (53) was clean bowled by T Haq
Both the openers dominated the opposition bowlers and smashed to every corner of the park, Banday was more aggressive smashing 10 fours and one hit for maximum in his unbeaten knock of 72.
At the close of second day’s play Banday(72) and Pranav Gupta(17) were at the crease. J&K is still trailing by 180 runs.
