Srinagar: Senior Hurriyat Conference leader Nayeem Ahmad Khan has been admitted to the Deen Dayal Upadhyay (DDU) Hospital in New Delhi after he complained of multiple ailments.
Family members of Khan told local news agency KNS that they were not allowed to see Khan in the hospital.
“We have submitted an application in the Patiala House court for permission to look after Khan in the hospital,” they said.
Khan was arrested by NIA in the last week of July in connection with the “terror funding” case and has since been lodged in Tihar Jail in Delhi.
He is among ten persons arrested by the NIA so far, including seven top Hurriyat leaders.
