Srinagar: The joint resistance leadership comprised of Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Mohammad Yasin Malik on Thursday called for a “mass protest rally” against the “conspiracies” being hatched by government of India to “change” the demography of Jammu and Kashmir.
Geelani, Mirwaiz and Malik in a joint statement said, “the Indian state is hatching conspiracies against the history, culture of Jammu and Kashmir to change its Muslim character.”
They said, “anti-Kashmir policies are being implemented to strengthen the military occupation of Jammu and Kashmir.”
The leaders called for a rally on October 14 to protest against the anti-Kashmir policies and to aware people about these dangerous designs.
They also called for valley-wide protests on Friday against the braid chopping incidents.
