Ramgarh (Jammu): Indian and Pakistani troops exchanged firing in Ramgarh sector of Jammu and Kashmir, reports said on Thursday.
According a report of ANI, the Pakistan Army initiated unprovoked firing in Ramgarh sector.
“The Border Security Force (BSF) retaliated strongly and effectively. The firing continued for about one hour 45 minutes,” the report said.
No injuries or damages have been reported.
Both sides also resorted to cross border firing with small arms and mortars around midnight in Arnia area of Jammu’s R S Pura sector.
Pertinently, after every firing incident along the LoC or IB, both India and Pakistan accuse each other of violating the ceasefire which is in place since 2003.
