JKFA hails J&K Bank for allowing team to participate in events

Srinagar: While hailing the decision of J&K Bank chairman to allow its football team to participate in the state level events despite hardships faced by the Bank, J&K Football Association (JKFA) Saturday hailed the contributions of the Bank in upliftment of the game of football in the state.

The contributions of the Bank for upliftment of the football in the state are immense, JKFA said in a statement. “Despite post demonetization effects and other issues, the JK Bank allowing its team to participate in the football events is worth praise. We are thankful to the Bank chairman Parvez Ahmad for allowing the team to participate in football events.”

“The J&K Bank has always been at the forefront to promote football in the state for the past several decades and we are hopeful under the dynamic leadership of incumbent chairman same will continue. It also thanked Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, Finance Minister Dr Haseeb Drabu, Youth Services and Sports Minister Molvi Imran Raza Ansari, Commissioner Secretary Youth Services and Sports Hilal Ahmad Parray and Secretary Sports Council Waheed-ur-Rehamn Parra for their continuous support for the upliftment of the game of football in the state.
