SRINAGAR: Militant outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba has paid tribute to Hizb-ul-Mujahideen militants who were killed in a gunfight in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
LeT chief Mehmood Shah in a statement to a local news agency CNS said, “For India, be it the Track-2 Policy or Track-3, it must evacuate Kashmir under each circumstance.”
“Our youth are sacrificing their lives for their freedom struggle to end the illegal Indian occupation. No policy, doctrine or formulae shall succeed until India’s eviction from Jammu Kashmir,” he said.
Thanking people, Shah said the presence of large number of people in militants’ absentia funeral prayers is an “eye-opener” for home minister Rajnath Singh.
“India must know that the nation and Mujahideen are on the same page for their freedom and that the struggle to end illegal occupation will continue until Kashmiris win their freedom,” LeT chief said.
