Police send students on Mini Bharat Tour

Srinagar: A Mini Bharat Dharshan Tour organized by Jammu and Kashmir Police was flagged off by Deputy Inspector General of Police South Kashmir Range Swayam Prakash Pani at Anantnag, Wednesday.
Forty Students in the age group of 15 to 20 from Anantnag, Kulgam, Pulwama, Shopian and Police Division Awantipora are part of the tour.
On the occasion, DIG Pani said that the aim of the tour is to provide platform to youth to gain knowledge about the cultural and educational setup in various states.
He said that the boys will visit places of historical importance and other places of interest in Jammu, Delhi and Chandigarh.
The touring boys will also call on dignitaries from various walks of life, DIG added.
