GHSS school Bandipora on educational tour to KU


Srinagar: The students of Girls Higher Secondary School Bandipora on Sunday toured the University of Kashmir & Anjuman Nusrat ul Islam school in Srinagar. The tour was supervised by the vice-principal, Bashir Ahmad Zargar, and other faculty members.

At the university, students were taken around several the academic departments, besides the botanical garden where the curator informed them about the importance of biodiversity.

Students also went to the central library and where they learnt that the library housed 6 hundred thousand books besides a computer lab for specially abled students, IRC (International Resource Cell), e-resources and a section that remains open 24X7.

Chief Proctor KU, Naseer Iqbal Bhat also interacted with the students. He encouraged the students to dream high and advised them to work hard.
