SRINAGAR: Chairman Karwan-e-Islami International Ghulam Rasool Hami on Friday announced that all stakeholders will be meeting on 28 August (Monday) in Srinagar to put their views on the issues of triple talaq, special status of the State and many other issues.
Hami alleged that some “anti-Islamic” powers are trying to malign the image of Islam and Islamic laws and are spreading venom against Muslims. “Any harmful act towards Kashmir and Islamic laws will not be accepted at any cost,” he said.
Addressing people at Jamia Masjid Gulab Bagh, Hazratbal, Hami said the way of life shown by Islam stands unparalleled and that it is only by Islamic teachings that humanity still exists.
He said before the arrival of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), people used to bury girl child at time of their birth but this practice was stopped by the Prophet (SAW) who gave many other rights to women. “It is Islam which says Jannah (paradise) lies under the feet of mother. It is only by Islamic teachings that humanity still exists and according to Islam, at the time of Nikah (marriage), a man is briefed about the rights of women and after accepting those rights only then they can live their life happily,” he said.
