Army soldier injured in militant attack in Kupwara

Srinagar: One Indian Army soldier was injured after militants on Saturday attacked an army camp in forest area of Kalaroos in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, reports said.
The incident took place at around 2 am in the night, when a group of militants launched indiscriminate fire for continuously more than 10 minutes at an army camp, sources said adding one soldier of 41 Rashtriya Rifles sustained injuries in the attack.
The camp according to sources is home to battalions from both 41 RR and 21 JAK rifles.
Army has reacted to the situation quickly and a man hunt has been launched to locate the attackers, defence sources said.
