India can never force us into accepting its slavery: Dukhtaran

SRINAGAR: Expressing anguish over the attack on teachers and students by army at a school in Pahalgam, the Dukhtaran-e-Millat (DeM) on Monday said army was using all means to subjugate and force people into accepting Indian occupation.
In a statement, DeM general secretary, Nahida Nasreen, said, “No matter what these brutal forces do in Kashmir, they cannot make people like India. It is the second incident in recent past when these goons in uniform have entered a school and beat up teachers and students.”
She said “Kashmiris have never accepted India as their country despite the illegal occupation and extreme repression”.
“As Muslims, people of Kashmir can never sing Jana Gana Mana or Vande Mataram. We accept and believe in the supremacy (of) only Allah (SWT) and are His slaves only,” she said.
“Every form of brutality has been perpetrated on Kashmiris by India and its forces, still we have not submitted. We have and will continue to reject India, its government and its illegal occupation,” she said.
