NIA recovers ‘Guru’s letter for Geelani’

Srinagar: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has reportedly recovered a letter of Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru from the residence of Syed Ali Geelani’s son-in-law Altaf Ahmad Shah, when the sleuth was conducting a raid on the premises in suspected involvement in terror funding.
As per reports during their raids, the NIA found a letter from Guru which was addressed to Geelani seeking help to be transferred to the Central jail in Srinagar from Delhi’s Tihar.
“I request you to ask Omar Abdullah Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir to reply to the Supreme Court notice about jail transfer issue instead of talking about passing the resolution in the Assembly which he do not need at all,” reports the quoting the letter of Guru to Geelani said.
Guru was executed in Tihar jail on February 9, 2013.
The NIA had registered a case against the Hurriyat leaders on May 30, after which they executed various raids in the Jammu and Kashmir area.

What a pity! Now the letters of a person hanged to satisfy collective conscience of a deeply unconscious populace being raked up to satisfy the collective heartless attitude to what we r going through.
