JK Govt calls ‘emergency’ cabinet meet at 1 pm

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir government Tuesday called an “emergency” cabinet meeting to discuss the Anantnag attack, official sources said.
Seven Amarnath pilgrims were dead and twelve sustained injuries in the attack took place near Batengo area on Srinagar-Jammu highway last evening.
The meeting called at 1 pm will be chaired by the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti.
Sources said that cabinet will pass a resolution against the Anantnag attack and also announce a compensation for the victim families.
