Jazim Sajjad awarded ‘most valuable player’ trophy

Basketball Summer League -2017

Srinagar: Jazim Sajjad, student of Tyndale Biscoe School studying in 9th class was awarded most valuable player of the tournament (Basketball Summer League – 2017) for his skills and scoring capabilities in the game of basketball. Jazim has already represented J&K state in twice in under -14 national tournaments. He is seen as a bright prospect in basketball for the state.
Notably, this is for the first time that a basketball tournament of this stature was held here in Srinagar in which around 170 players (boys and girls) in junior as well as senior categories participated under different teams. During the tournament, the players exhibited their huge talent.
The Sports Council had extended infrastructural support to the tournament. J&K Bank, known for its talent hunt initiatives, provided uniforms, trophies, medals & mementoes and cash prizes to the winners. All participants were awarded participation certificates.
