Manchester: President of Pakistan-administered Kashmir (PaK), Sardar Masood Khan, has urged the United Kingdom to play a role in resolving the Kashmir dispute.
Addressing a function in Manchester on Saturday, he asked the United Kingdom, being a permanent member of the UN Security Council, to help make the role of the world body more effective and vigorous.
He said the United Kingdom should take notice of ‘massive human rights violations by Indian troops in India-occupied Kashmir’.
Earlier, talking to the newly elected members of the House of Commons in Bradford, Khan urged them to raise their voices for the fundamental rights of Kashmiris. He lauded Pakistan and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) for their steadfast support for the cause of Kashmir.
