Srinagar: Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) has offered its greetings to the people of Jammu Kashmir and Islamic world, on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. In his message
from Srinagar central jail, JKLF chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik has said that “we wish we could celebrate the ultimate joy, when our homeland and our prisoners are freed’’, “We hope that Eid-ul-Fitr would return, while our people are steadfast, our divided nation is unified and liberated from illegal occupation of India and we as a nation are triumphant, blessed and serene,” Malik said, while extending wishes to “martyr families”, injured persons, detainees and “other victims of Indian occupation”. ‘’Victory is coming up soon and the oppressed people of Jammu Kashmir will taste the ultimate victory (Insha Allah),’’ Malik said.
Meanwhile, Malik expressed grief over the demise of a distinguished Judge Abdul Majeed Dar and mother of resistance leader Fareeda Behenjee. A JKLF delegation visited Alochi Bagh and expressed solidarity with the bereaved Baigh family while as senior JKLF leader Zahoor Ahmad Butt visited Jagarpora Kupwara and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family of Judge Abdul Majeed Dar.
