Jammu: Indian and Pakistani troops Saturday exchanged firing along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, reports said.
Defence sources accused Pakistani Army of violating the ceasefire agreement which is in place since 2003.
“Pakistani Army this morning at around 1100 hours fired unprovoked at forward Indian posts in Shahpur belt of Poonch by firing small arms and automatics,” official sources said.
They said that the Indian Army gave a befitting reply to the Pakistan firing. “No injury or loss has been reported so far,” they said.
