Hajin: Clashes erupted between government forces and youth in Hajin town of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district after Friday prayers.
Witnesses said that hundreds of youth assembled near Jamia Masjid Hajin after prayers and shouted anti-India and pro-freedom slogans.
As the march proceeded youth hurled stones on army goodwill school which was retaliated by forces by firing tear gas shells.
This led to clashes between youth and government forces in the area, they said.
The clashes were going on when reports last came in.
Pertinently, pro-freedom leaders had called for protests against the recent killings at the hands of forces.
