Srinagar: At least 65 people sustained injuries during clashes erupted between government forces and protesters at Kakapora, in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday.
The clashes erupted after three LeT militants were killed in a gunfight in the same area.
Sources informed Kashmir Reader that 60 persons injured during clashes were brought to the public health centre Kakapora.
They said that 16 injured were referred to Srinagar for advanced treatment. They added that those referred to Srinagar were having multiple pellet injuries.
Sources in the Sub District Hospital Pampore told Kashmir Reader that they received 5 injured from Kakapora and referred 2 to Srinagar.
