Clashes in Srinagar, Hajin after Friday prayers

Hajin: Clashes erupted between government forces and youths in Hajin town of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Friday.
Witnesses said that hundreds of youth assembled near Jamia Masjid Hajin after congregational prayers and shouted anti-India and pro-freedom slogans.
As the march proceeded youth hurled stones on government forces, who retaliated by lobbed tear gas shells to disperse the protesters triggering clashes resulting in injuries to two youths. They were hit by pellets, sources said.
The intensive clashes are going on in hajin after Friday prayers.

Clashes also erupted between protesters and government forces in downtown area of Srinagar on Friday after congregational prayers, sources said.
