Srinagar: A complete shutdown is being observed in the Kashmir valley Friday against the killing of a college student of Shopian at the hands of government forces.
19 year old Aadil Farooq Magray was killed on Tuesday in Ganowpora village of the south Kashmir district during clashes.
Joint resistance leadership has called for a day-long shutdown in the Kashmir Valley to protest against the killing of Aadil.
Schools and colleges have been closed in the valley in the wake of the shutdown call.
Reports of complete shutdown have come from all the ten district headquarters of the valley while as other towns and major villages too are observing shutdown.
Shops, business establishments, banks and other offices are closed while as public transport is off the roads.
