Pulwama, Tral shuts for straight fifth day

Srinagar: A complete shutdown is being observed in the Pulwama district of south Kashmir especially in the towns of Pulwama and Tral on Wednesday, reports said.
The shutdown started in the south Kashmir areas soon after Hizb militant commander Sabzar Ahmad and his associate, Faizan were trapped in a cordon in Tral on Saturday.
Meanwhile, mobile phone services continued to remain suspended in Tral area of south Kashmir.
The service was snapped on Saturday afternoon after Sabzar and his aide were killed, sources said.
