Srinagar: Police on Friday pasted posters of three militants in Shopian saying they were involved in the killing of young Army officer Ummer Fayaz, sources said.
Police claimed that three militants were involved in the abduction and killing of Ummer Fayaz in Herman village of south Kashmir’s Shopian district.
They said the militants are from Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Hizbul Mujahideen.
A resident of Sudsona village in Kulgam district, Ummer was killed in Shopian village where he had gone to attend a relative’s marriage ceremony.
Meanwhile, a massive manhunt has been launched to catch the said militants, police said.
