JK pacer Mehjoor impresses Kings XI batsmen in nets

SRINAGAR: Mehjoor Ali, a young fast bowling prodigy, got a shot in the arm when he bowled for batsmen of king’s XI Punjab during net practice session at Chinnaswamy Stadium Bangalore.
Mehjoor was invited to nets by  King’s XI Punjab’s assistant coach Mithun Manhas and provided him a chance to bowl for batsmen of his team during practice session on net.
Mehjoor bowled to the renowned international batmen including Kings XI skipper Glenn Maxwell, Hashim Amla, Martin Guptill and Virender Sehwag.
26 year Ali is a budding fast bowler from J&K state who has been impressive while bowling at the nets against the batsmen of king’s XI Punjab.
Speaking to Kashmir Reader from Banglore Mehjoor says it’s a great feeling to bowl against the players like Hasima Amla, Glenn Maxell, Virender Sehwag and Martin Guptill, It was a wonderful and unforgettable day for me.”
“All the batsmen appreciated and encouraged my efforts,” Mehjoor Ali said.
“After the end of the practice session all the batsmen appreciated me whom I bowled in the nets.”
Head coach of Kings XI Virender Sehwag called me to the dressing room and had a detailed chat with me. He appreciated and encouraged me very much and told me give my best always,” excited Sofi said.
26 year old pacer has represented Jammu and Kashmir in one Ranji Trophy, five List A and five T20 matches so far.
Mehjoor has learned tips from iconic Shane Warne to speed merchant Shaun Tait when he was in Rajasthan Royals Development squad (IPL champions) in his 17’s. He honed his fast bowling skills in BCCI’s NCA North Zone Camp for only top five bowler of the zone (two times), MRF pace foundation.
