Rajnath chairs meet to review Kashmir situation

Srinagar: Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday chaired an inter-ministerial meeting in New Delhi to review the situation in Kashmir, sources said.
They said that Rajnath is schedule to also review the implementation of development package announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the troubled state later in the day in another meeting.
Officials of the Home Department, Intelligence Bureau, Central Reserve Police Force and Border Security Force attended the meeting, they added.
The meeting was held after the state government banned social media in Kashmir to quell the protests which are going on since some time.
