Clashes erupt in Kupwara after militant attack

Srinagar: Clashes between protesters and government forces erupted on Thursday in Kralepora area of Kupwara district soon after militants attacked an army garrison in north Kashmir.
Earlier three army soldiers including an officer and two militants were killed in an encounter that broke out after militants attacked a camp in Panzgam area, some six KMs from Kralepora.
Local sources said that soon after the news about the killing of two militants spread in the area, scores of youth hit the streets in Kralepora and held massive demonstrations raising pro-freedom and anti-India slogans.
They said that government forces resorted to tear smoke shelling against the stone pelting youth triggering shutdown.
The clashes were going on when reports last came.

    They need to understand that india will not give Kashmir ever. If they do it, then they have to give Assam, Punjab etc.. All they are doing is making their own lives difficult.
