KCCI worried over government’s methods to tackle unrest in valley

Says internet  gag results in business losses
SRINAGAR: The Kashmir Chamber of Commerce & Industry has raised concern over the methods adopted by the administration to overcome the unrest in the valley that lead to cause more harm to the normal activity of life than achieving any desirable result towards restoration of peace in the state.
In a statement it has said that unabated use of pellets  and bullets has become  a routine matter for the troops and  suspension of internet connectivity by the government is used as a tool to hold at ransom the entire online business activities like education, travel, general trade and banking. Mushtaq Ahmad Wani the President,  KCCI said that suspension of internet connectivity creates panic and  gives rise to dangerous rumor  mongering that can add to the trouble beyond measure.
It called upon the government to avoid suspending the internet frequently.
