ISM Department suffered a lot during the absence of a technical head in the last 4-5 months because Modern Doctors lobby eroded the basic fundamentals which were created after its bifurcation from Health Department in 1987-88.
Majority of Unani institutions in the valley are without Medicines and Amarnath Yatra is going to start next month.Ensure availability of Medicines in institutions of disturbed valley
Government of Jammu & Kashmir should also concentrate on establishing Health Centers at important tourist spots based on Unani concepts.
Government Center in University area is providing qualitative as well as effective treatment to sufferers. Government can take the services of retired and experienced Unani experts.
