Srinagar: Lauding the ‘commitment’ of people towards the ‘freedom struggle’, a spokesman of Hurriyat (M) on Thursday said that the courage and the resolve of people to take the movement forward has given birth to new Kashmir struggle on the international level.
Paying tributes to the youngsters who died due to the bullets showered by the government forces over the past few days, the Hurriyat spokesman in a statement said that a high level delegation led by senior leader GN Zaki went to Barsoo Ganderabal village to condole the death of Umar Farooq Ganaie who was killed by the government forces during the recent ‘sham elections’.
Expressing solidarity and sympathy with the bereaved family on behalf of Mirwaz, the delegates prayed for the deceased soul.
On the occasion, Mirwaiz talked to the bereaved father of Umar, Farooq Ahmad Ganaie on phone.
While expressing his solidarity and sympathy with the family, Mirwaiz said that the sacrifices were the priceless assets of Kashmir struggle.
