Srinagar: The militant outfit Hizbul Mujahideen on Monday paid tributes to the civilians who were killed during the clashes in Budgam district on Sunday.
In an e-mailed statement, Hizb spokesman, Saleem Hashmi said that the pro-India political parties in the state of Jammu and Kashmir should accept the reality and must stop becoming partners of India in killing the innocent people of Kashmir.
“In case the pro-Indian political parties continue to support India in such atrocities then the history will not forgive them,” the statement said.
Quoting a Hizb Council meeting presided over by the Hizb chief, Syed Salahuddin, the spokesman said, “On April 09, the civilian killings in Kashmir has exposed the terrible face of Indian democracy before everyone.”
Urging the people of Anantnag-Pulwama to boycott the election, Hizb said, “The people must boycott the elections to convey a message to the world community that the heirs of martyrs like Burhan Wani and others are still alive and can’t disrespect their sacrifices.”
