Kashmiri actor Zaira Wasim wins national award

New Delhi: Zaira Wasim, who won everyone’s heart with her acting skills in ‘Dangal,’ has got her hand on the big one.
The 16-year-old-actress, who hails from Kashmir, has bagged the National Award in ‘Best Supporting Actress’ category
An excited Zaira said, “I am very happy and honoured to have been conferred with the National Award for my first movie itself. I will always be grateful to the Jury for selecting me and the entire team of Dangal including Aamir Sir to whom I will always be grateful for giving me the opportunity in the movie.”
Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah congratulated the ‘Dangal’ fame on her monumental achievement.
