KTMF extends tenure of its officer bearers

Khan to continue as Prez, says elections could not be held in the prevailing situation

Srinagar: Kashmir Traders and Manufacturers Federation (KTMF) on Sunday decided to extended the tenure of its office bearers for another three years, skipping a formal elections in view of prevailing situation in the valley
The decision to this was made after trade representatives and members from their respective districts and tehsils agreed to extend the tenure of its office bearers.
The decision to this was made after a daylong meeting held at Srinagar.
Mohammad Yasin Khan who retained his post of president sadi that due  the prevailing situation in Kashmir Valley no formal elections were held by KTMF and it was decided to carry on with the present setup for the next three years.
Khan said that they will continue to fight for the business community as it has been the worst hit due to several reasons.
