Srinagar: Baramulla Munsif Court on Friday extended the judicial remand of incarcerated pro-freedom leader Masarat Alam Bhat till April 7 in a case filed against him when he was in jail, sources said.
Hurriyat Conference (G) leader and Muslim League Chairman, Masarat has been in prison since 2010 uprising, which he mobilized and spearheaded.
As per Muslim League sources, the court extended Masarat’s remand in a case filed against him when he was lodged in a jail outside the valley. Masarat has been booked in a case FIR NO. 258/2016 registered in police station Baramulla.
