Reacting strongly against PDP leader Muzaffar Hussaian Baig’s remark about pro-freedom leaders, Hurriyat Conference (G) on Tuesday called his statement as “mental bankruptcy”.
A spokesperson of the amalgam said that the remark of Baig was like a “pot calling the kettle black”.
“The people who have become associated with pellets, bullets and Public Safety Act (PSA) were trying to shift the attention from their crimes by pointing fingers at others,” he said.
The spokesman said that most of the pro-freedom leaders were spending their lives behind bars while “politicians like Muzaffar Baig change their colours like a chameleon.”
Pertinently, Baig had on Monday said that the Hurriyat leaders were “making fortunes on the blood of young boys in Kashmir through politics of deceit.”
