Yasin Malik arrested from party office

Srinagar: Police on Saturday arrested Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Chairman, Yasin Malik from his office in Abi Guzar area of Srinagar.
A party spokesman said that a large contingent of police came and arrested Malik from the party office.
This according to JKLF spokesman is aimed to prevent Malik from carrying an election boycott campaign.
By-elections for Srinagar and Anantnag Parliamentary constituencies are schedule on April 9 and 12 respectively.
Joint resistance leadership comprised of Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Yasin Malik has called upon people to boycott the polls.
